At 19, Omotu Bissong won the coveted crown of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria in 2003. Since then, her career as a model, business woman, student, and philanthropist has catapulted to phenomenal heights.

A native of Yala, Omotu Bissong started her modelling career when she was a child, and attended Nigerian Navy Primary school, Calabar, and its secondary equivalent which she completed at the age the fourteen. In 2003, as a third-year student of the University of Calabar, studying Economics, Omotu  made history by becoming the first MBGN winner from the South-East. Her pet projects as MBGN included HIV/AIDS awareness, and the promotion of tourism in the country.

During her reign as MBGN, she represented Nigeria at the two most prestigious beauty pageants in the world (Miss Universe and Miss World). Bissong continued to model in Nigeria before moving to America, where she still models under the management of the famous Ikon New York Model Management Agency, while she furthers her education at the City University of New York, studying Accounting.
